Near Major Gas Field
Located just west of the renowned and lucrative Crossfield East sour gas field and plant (over a trillion cubic feet produced), Berkley's Crossfield West project holds the potential for significant gas reserves and production. Both seismic and geological data indicate that Crossfield West hosts anomalies similar to those found at Crossfield East
Eight drill targets
Eight drill targets have been identified to date. Our first target is two miles west of the Crossfield gas plant. If drilling is successful, the proximity to Crossfield East's infrastructure offers the potential to bring this project into production at an early date and at low capital costs.
Licensing well underway
As Crossfield West is a sour gas prospect; the licensing and permitting procedures prior to drilling have required extensive preparations and community involvement. The comprehensive license application is soon to be filed and if necessary a hearing date will follow.
